The Effect Analysis of the Job Stress of Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of job stress, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment; and to present an effect of job stress of vocational rehabilitation counselors on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. A self-administered questionnaire survey was also undertaken to obtain data from 97 vocational rehabilitation counselors in the vocational rehabilitation institutions in Seoul, Kyunggi and Incheon areas. The collected data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences SPSS version 19.0.
Job stress on job satisfaction and organizational commitment analysis results are as follows. First, job stress was devided into six sub factors for organizational management system, job instability, job demands, social support, job autonomy, workplace culture. job satisfaction was divided into four sub factors for achievement opportunities, job autonomy, job performance, workplace environment, and organizational commitment was divided into three sub factors for organizational loyalty, organizational affection, organization contribution. Second, job satisfaction was affected by organizational management system, social support, and job self-control variables. Third, Organizational commitment was affected by organizational management system, social support, and job instability variables.
